It shows it to me as highly rated and recommended, but for the life of me I could not figure out why. The Reckless Afterlife of Harriet Stoker’ begins with the death of the anti-heroine, Harriet, in the abandoned building of Mulcture Hall, and follows her as she experiences the afterlife there, meeting Felix, Kasper, Rima, and Leah, who welcome her warmly.just some gothic nightclub where gossip is fuelled by the presence of a rich and unearthly, handsome family or afterlife. There were a few good parts to this book that made me smile, but after 82% (and I am sorry but that is a lot for this book) I had to give up.
